Global Leaderboard & Public Display of Your Data

EpCal features a global leaderboard that is visible to all users of the Service. When you use EpCal, the following personal data is uploaded to and stored on EpCal's servers and may be displayed publicly on the global leaderboard:

  • Your username
  • Your watching scores and statistics (calculated from the episodes you mark as watched)
  • Your ranking position relative to other users

This leaderboard data is publicly visible to all users of EpCal. By creating an account and using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to your username, scores, and ranking being uploaded to our servers and displayed on the global leaderboard where other users can see them.

Social Features

In addition to the global leaderboard described above, EpCal offers social features such as friends lists. When you use these features, the following information may be visible to your friends:

  • Shows you're tracking
  • Episodes you've watched

You can control your social privacy by managing your friends list and choosing which shows to track.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

  • Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)
