Frequently Asked Questions

Use the Search page to find any show by name. On the show's detail page, click Track Show to add it to your list. Once tracked, new episodes will appear in your calendar and unwatched feed automatically.
Open your Unwatched page or a show's detail page and click the checkmark next to any episode to mark it as watched. You can also mark entire seasons watched at once using the Mark Season Watched button on a show's page.
If you signed up with an email and password (not Google), visit the Forgot Password page, enter your email address, and we'll send you a reset link. The link expires after 1 hour. If you signed in with Google, use the Continue with Google button on the login page — no password is needed.
If you're already logged in, go to Settings and scroll to the Change Password section. Enter your current password and your new password to save the change. If you've forgotten your current password, use the Forgot Password flow instead.
First, check your spam or junk folder. Verification emails are sent from [email protected]. If you still can't find it, email us at [email protected] with your username and we'll verify your account manually.
EpCal can generate a personal calendar feed that you can subscribe to in any calendar app (Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.). Go to Settings and find the Calendar Feed section to get your unique subscription URL. Episodes from your tracked shows will appear as events in your calendar app.
Go to the Friends page and search for another user by their display name or username. Send them a friend request — once they accept, you can see their tracked shows, compare libraries, and see who's watched the most!
Go to Settings and toggle the Dark Mode switch. Your preference is saved and will apply across all devices you use to log in.
EpCal pulls show and episode data from TVMaze. If information is wrong, the best way to fix it is to update it directly on TVMaze — corrections there will be reflected in EpCal automatically. If you believe there's a specific bug on our end, please email [email protected].
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Settings page. Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Account. This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your tracked shows, watched history, and friend connections will be removed.
Use the bug icon button in the bottom-left corner of any page (when logged in) to submit a bug report or feature request. You can also email us directly at [email protected].
